Let’s Talk about Money Manifestation!

Money Magic

I needed a new vehicle, and manifested the money for that within two weeks.

I needed some major work done on it, and manifested that money within one week.

The more I understand how money works, the better I get at acquiring it. Nowhere near rich (yet) but doing better than I was a year ago, and way better than this time two years ago. I’m fully confident that leaving ministry and transferring that skill set to private practice was the best decision I could’ve made.

I. CHANGING YOUR MINDSET

So, how do we get started on manifesting? The way to start is by changing the way you think about money in general.

If you think of it as a “necessary evil” or (even worse) the “root of all evil,” then you’re programming yourself to hate money and your subconscious will avoid it.

For example my father hated money, though he was in an environment where it was relatively free-flowing and had the skills to succeed in that environment. In fact, in the 90s he once said to me, “Your mother doesn’t understand that I’m happiest without money.” This meant that in spite of his access and skills, his revulsion to money sentenced my sister and me to grow up in poverty while my mother worked her ass off to change that (I thank her for that to this very day!).

So how do we change our mindset? I’m going to give you two methods that aim at reprogramming your subconscious. It won’t be immediate, but more like water wearing down on a boulder; you do this every day and slowly you’ll find results.

CHANGING MINDS: METHOD ONE
The first method begins by thinking about how you felt last time you got a better job, or came into a little extra money, and make yourself *feel* the way you felt then. Then ask yourself: HOW DID I BECOME SO WEALTHY? WHY AM I SO WEALTHY?

After this, try to see beauty around you; you can see beauty in anything else you choose: your spouse’s eyes, your dog or cat, market economics, anything or anywhere you want. Then ask yourself again: HOW DID I BECOME SO WEALTHY? WHY AM I SO WEALTHY?

This sounds hokey and new-age, but it’s actually psychology; you’re programming your deep mind to be receptive to wealth and teaching it to feel something other than the crushing weight of not having it.

CHANGING MINDS: METHOD TWO
The second method is similar to the first, and follows the line of what some folks call “affirmations.” While the first method conditions you to get out of the doldrums of non-abundance, the second method works on the subconscious to program a mentality of abundance and, by extension, a better ability to perceive opportunities to manifest even more.

The second method involves standing in front of a mirror every day (morning or night would be ideal, before or after you brush your teeth), and saying this rather long series of affirmations:

I AM A MONEY MAGNET.
I like money and money likes me.
I attract money.
I attract money 24 hours a day.
I earn bountiful amounts of money.
I wisely know how to create money.
I know that I will always have more money in my future than I do now.
The money that I create keeps multiplying, duplicating, and replenishing itself.
I am forever enjoying more and more money.
I have infinite money – more than enough for my every want and need.
I cheerfully save money.
I faithfully save 10% of all the money I earn.
I wisely invest my money.
I see my money re-creating itself effortlessly.
I cheerfully give money to good and worthy causes and philanthropies that make a lasting and ongoing difference.
My estate is in perfect, updated order and will be lasting legacy that makes an important and memorable difference.
Money rushes to me in every form and fashion.
I have lots and lots of money.
I have money in my mind, in my future, in my pocket, in my wallet, in my safe, in my bank accounts, in my business, in my investments, and wherever it keeps growing.
I enjoy money and money enjoys me.
Money and all its equivalents are attracted to me.
Money is forever making me infinitely better off.
ALL THAT I DO CREATES SURPLUS, ABUNDANCE, AND PLENTY FOR MYSELF AND EVERYONE ELSE.

While you say this, imagine (or feel, if you can’t visualize) a torrent of money coming to you, and feel yourself enjoying it as it arrives. LET YOUR ID OUT TO PLAY. You’re not doing this out of some since of necessity, but out of pure desire.

II. READING AND STUDY

Affirmations sound fine and all that, but it’s nothing more than “magical thinking” without any kind of work on your part. And you have to work HARD if you want things to start going in the right direction. It gets easier as you move forward, but the very beginning of your project will always be the most difficult. While doing your affirmations, also take time to read and study about how money works. Read books about money and financial literacy, take a course in economics (several free courses exist on the internet), watch videos or listen to podcasts from entrepreneurs, and go to the Foundation for Economic Education’s website and take their classes in entrepreneurship (also free). There is literally SO MUCH INFORMATION at your fingertips that there’s no excuse for you not to follow up on this. This is a case of “if you really want it, you’ll do the heavy lifting.” And no, I don’t care if that statement can be considered a “Section A Attack” on the “Verbal Violence Octagon,” because the statement is true.Start yourself off with Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, one of the classics of money-oriented literature. You can also read Hansen’s and Allen’s The One-Minute Millionaire; the book’s a bit “fluffy,” but its strength is that it’s in plain English and I found some good ideas while reading it. Read up about various entrepreneurs and follow them on YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter. People who succeed have a tendency to want to share that information and help others succeed, too.And if you’re socially awkward (like me), read about and work on improving your people skills because networking with others will be vital. Of course there’s Dale Carnegie’s classic How to Win Friends and Influence People, which is a great foundation but not entirely workable in today’s confrontational world. I’d recommend supplementing it with books such as Ben Bissell’s Dealing with Difficult People (very difficult to find) and Suzette Hayden Elgin’s The Gentle Art of Verbal Self-Defense.

III. CREATING AN INCOME STREAM

Manifesting money is an integrated effort. Thus far we’ve talked about programming the subconscious to accept money and building up the intellect to understand money. Now we bring our hands and feet into the mix to make money. This is where you need to understand three basic truths:1. Money is everywhere around us.
2. People love to give away money.
3. The only reason they’re giving it to someone else and not you is that YOU’RE NOT GIVING THEM A GOOD ENOUGH EXCUSE.A fourth truth about money and how the world operates is that YOU DON’T NEED A JOB, YOU NEED AN INCOME STREAM.A job can be useful as a way of funding an income stream, but the goal is getting to the point where you can turn in your two-week notice sooner rather than later. So don’t look down on the idea of “having a j-o-b” or being an “employee,” but instead see the job as a tool . . . see it as a case of “what I have is a key to getting more.”So why are we creating an income stream? Because it expands our “Sphere of Availability.” This is a somewhat controversial concept that the only things we can attract are those available to us. Some people deny the Sphere exists or claim they can “break through the Sphere,” but when I analyze the facts of each case, I see that what manifested (inheritance, settlements, etc) was within the realm of what was already potentially available to them. This leads me to insist that the Sphere does exist. Now when we expand our Sphere by creating an income stream, we need to create our stream in terms of a product or service that people actually want. And then we need to get word out about our existence. Since my own business is largely internet-based, I rely on “expanding my platform,” i.e. the number of eyeballs exposed to my name and made aware of what I have on offer. Blogging, social media, YouTube videos, and most importantly speaking at events (people react better when they’re in the same room with you) — all these things can help you expand your platform and subsequently your sales.(Note that I’m talking about active income streams right now. Passive income exists, but is a subject for another time.)Now you won’t have success with this income stream overnight, Lord knows I picked two other income streams that didn’t succeed terribly (leatherwork, computer repair) before falling into the business I’m in now. So if the stream fails, just have an exit strategy and do something else. Remember that successful people often fail a lot of times before they become successful; what separates them from “failures” is their insistence on getting up again after each time they’ve been knocked down.

IV. SPIRITUAL SUPPORTS

I saved this part for the end, because it’s controversial. If you’re a believer, pray that God will give you guidance to find opportunities for generating wealth. If you have problems with getting prayer to produce results, please see my book The Magic of Effective Prayer available at Amazon. If you pray the Rosary regularly, then it’s okay to include this intention in your Rosary; in fact that’s exactly how I came into a settlement 4 times what was expected after my car accident in ’09. During the place in the Hail Mary where once inserts the Mystery, I instead said “Jesus . . . who brought me much money.”For information on using the Rosary this way, please see my book How to Pray the Rosary and Get Results, also available on Amazon and Lulu.If you come from another faith tradition, use the methods of your tradition to assist with building your income streams. If you are a magician, use the techniques or systems that work best for you. Also take note of a common complaint amongst magicians: that money magic often brings in less money than intended. The more you learn about how money works and how to manifest it into your life, the more these “crap-shoot” type of results can be avoided.

V. CHANGING MINDSETS, PART 2

Now, some of you might be shaking your head at this because a lot of people are programmed that it’s not okay to pray or do magic for money. GET THAT NONSENSE OUT OF YOUR HEAD!Usually this mentality has its roots in the belief that money is “the root of all evil” (an out-of-context interpretation of 1 Timothy 6:10; Paul’s actually talking about unbridled greed), and a sort of mental resignation that “you’re never gonna be any better off, so you may as well mind your place and offer up your sufferings.”Now the “mind your place” and “offer it up” mentalities may help emotionally as a kind of justification for going nowhere, but it doesn’t put a roof over your head or food on the table. In fact I’d say the tradition of glorifying the individual’s suffering is a crutch that keeps one from doing the work to break out of “their place” and become something better than they are.My question for you is — and you can skip this if you’re a non-believer — what kind of loving God actually wants you to suffer? The God of Calvin maybe, but Calvin’s “God” is an egotistical monster and not particularly loving. The God of Luther, the God of Peter, the God of Abraham, the God of the Maccabees . . . that God wasn’t interested in people “minding their place” and keeping them in a state of suffering. The idea of “mind your place” and “offer it up” is, in the last analysis, a man-made idea that enables institutions to gain and maintain societal control. If you’re a believer, I’d assert that it’s better to think of God, the Angels, the Saints, and our departed ancestors as our “Infinite Network,” who can help us acquire and help us discern opportunities for increase that we may not have noticed otherwise. Is it wrong for a child to come to a loving parent and ask that parent for something that’s good for them?

VI. GRATITUDE

Something very important is gratitude. In this connection I often mention the story of Jesus and the ten lepers, where only one came back to thank him for healing them.Gratitude is more than just saying “Thank you, God” or saying “Thank you” to your customers. Gratitude is recognizing and being thankful for all that’s come your way and showing it by your ACTIONS.One basic form of gratitude involves discernment. If you’re walking on a sidewalk and see a penny, recognize that it’s your prosperity manifesting before you. Pick it up, be thankful, and say to yourself: HOW DID I BECOME THIS WEALTHY? WHY AM I SO WEALTHY?This seems trivial, but what it does is cultivate a mindset of being grateful for small things. If you learn to be grateful for small things, you’ll be even more grateful for bigger things as they come your way.Another form of gratitude (and one even secular books on wealth-building recommend) is tithing. Not necessarily to a church, but to any charity whose cause resonates with you. Another form of doing this is something I do every month when my book royalties come in: I find one or two independent authors that interest me and purchase their work. What happens here is not just that you’re supporting an independent business or helping a worthy cause, you’re also demonstrating your gratitude by action instead of just words. Likewise you’re showing that you understand money is meant to move around (economics is all about the movement of money!), and by participating in that move, you’re signalling that you’re ready and willing for more money to be moved to *you.* It’s a cycle, and the more you participate in that cycle, the more you’ll benefit from it.

VII. CONCLUSION

This “guide” is far from complete, and I teach a class on beginner level wealth-building every so often at Mountaintop (I want you to have a reason to attend!). But these tips and the books I recommended will more than point you in the right direction to start your cash-manifesting journey!

About Agostino

Originally from Queens, N.Y., and having grown up in Dayton, OH, Agostino Taumaturgo is a unique figure. He is the product of the unlikely combination of coming from a Traditional Roman Catholic background and a spirituality-friendly home. It was in this home that Agostino first learned the basics of meditation, prayer, and spiritual working. In time Agostino completed his theology studies and was ordained to the priesthood and was later consecrated a bishop. He has since left the Traditional movement and brings this knowledge to the “outside world” through his teaching and writing, discussing spiritual issues and practical matters through the lens of traditional Christian theology.
