In the season of Advent, we carried a mood of longing and expectation while discussing how St. John the Baptist embodied the Four Aspects of the Magus.
As we go forward into the Christmas season, we see the violet of Advent has given way to the gold of the Sun shining down into our lives. We see that expectation has come forth out of the womb and sent into manifestation.
This homily was given heavy-eyed and half-awake, during a private Latin Mass this Christmas morning. The background music was intentionally chosen to be a little bit “different,” because this isn’t stuff you’d hear at the average pulpit, my friends.
